Whitney Houston Has Died

I’m genuinely sad to tell you all that Whitney Houston died this afternoon at the Beverly Hilton hotel. Her publicist has confirmed the sad news to the AP and no details at this time have been released about what exactly happened.

We all know that Whitney had a long and tumultuous battle with drugs and addiction. She leaves behind her 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina, her only child with ex-husband Bobby Brown. Just as recently as last week Whitney was seen out with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Ray-J and her name had popped up to come on board the X-Factor as a judge.

I truly am sad to report this news, especially on the eve of the Grammys as Whitney is a six time winner of the award. I’m a life long fan of Whitney and grew up with her music. I was pulling for her to make that long awaited comeback and can only hope that now she finds the peace she was looking for.
