One of the best parts of Halloween with the kids is the costumes and they are so much more fun than what they were when I was a kid.
Now you can be just about anything that you want to be when the spooky day arrives. With that said, some costumes are high in demand and if you little one is very insistent on what they want to be you might want to get their costumes now before they are out of stock.
Since these costumes are seasonal, only a limited amount are made and ordered. Here is a list of the top ten costumes for boys and girls this Halloween season.

These costumes are the ones that seem to be flying of the shelves and at some places on back order or not available anymore. If your little one really wants one of these costumes and you can’t find it in stores start the hunt online.
There are many different Halloween costume and supply stores that are online and have relatively fast shipping. When placing an order online, be sure to look at their size chart and have the measurements of your child on hand and ready to reference before you make your purchase so you know for a fact that you are ordering the correct size.
While they will most likely take returns, you run the risk of not getting your replacement in time for the big Halloween event. If at all possible, be realistic with your kids. Tell them that they have to have a second choice and be honest. It really isn’t going to be the end of the world for your child if they don’t get their first pick unless you let it be.
Have a good attitude about all possible outcomes and they will follow your lead. In all the years that I’ve been doing Halloween with my kids we’ve never had a problem with the exception of some costume malfunctions, but nothing a safety pin couldn’t handle. Now go get shopping!
